| Salbanhat a dry well
in northwest Bangladesh, part of the Sub-Himalayan Foredeep. Little explorative
attention so far has been paid to this part until 1985. Since 1986, Bangladesh
Shell Petroleum Development performed reflection seismic and gravity surveys
at Salbanhat and went up to a total depth of 2,516m.
